Immediately behind, a cottage annexe has a bathroom and two further bedrooms, so Ardvaine is well suited for large or small parties. The village has a shop, a pub and Talisker Distillery, which is open to visitors. The climbing centre of Glenbrittle is near by, and Dunvegan Castle is a pleasant drive away.
