The world renowned Malt Whisky Trail and Castle Trail are only a short drive from the cottage and the beautiful Moray coast with excellent sandy beaches are only a few miles away.
The area hosts many highland games and agricultural shows during the summer and makes an ideal family day out.

Uniquely secluded, within the Cairngorm National Park, this Bothy Crofthouse has an airy and spacious feel with whitewashed stone walls and simple furnishings. A single, two bunk beds and a futon create a cosy sitting area around the wood burning stove (wood provided) in the one main room, with space for activities on a rainy day and pleasantly tiled work surfaces for food preparation, electric cooker and fridge. There is a smaller adjoining family room and a hot shower.
Enjoy an immediate access to an abundance of wildlife, rolling hills and the stunning qualities of natural silence and bird-call. Or explore Upper Donside; castles, galleries and gardens. Within easy access visitors will find the whisky trail, Royal Deeside, Speyside, Findhorn Bay and the coast. Nearby castle and hotel, river for fishing within a few hundred yards.

This A-frame chalet has a delightful and rural position in a secluded orchard on a working farm.
The chalet is located near many interesting sites. The historic Elgin is 5 minutes away, Lossiemouth 15 and the spectacular Moray Firth, with its dolphins, safe sandy beaches, dunes, craggy headlands and year-round variety of wildlife, is also close.
There are excellent local facilities in Elgin and the area surrounding the chalet provides a magnificent and diverse landscape with forests, moorlands, mountains and rivers, which can be explored by walking or cycling from the cottage. |

Smithy Cottage dates back to 1830 and was the original Blacksmith's workshop. Sympathetically extended and refurbished, the cottage now provides very comfortable self-catering accommodation in a quiet rural setting.
Wonderful mountain views and wildlife can be enjoyed from the cottage. The patio area at the front is the perfect place to watch the evening sunset or, on the right night, the Northern Lights. Nearby forests offer way marked trails for cycling, walking and orienteering.
Situated at the foothills of the Eastern Cairngorms between Royal Deeside and Speyside in the Cairngorm National Park Area of Upper Condise, Strathdon is well placed for sight seeing.

For a more active holiday the idyllic conservation village of Pennan is within reach of surfing, sailing, bird watching, many fine golf courses, fishing, castles and whisky distilleries. Originally built in 1989 as a conservatory tearoom and shop for the specialist herb plant nursery at Old Semeil. The Garden House has been tastefully furnished to provide self catering accommodation with a sheltered patio overlooking the established herb garden with its wonderful scents and wealth of insect life and birds.
Situated adjacent to woodlands on one side and open fields with views to the other, the Garden House and patio trap the sun in summer. Local Spar shop and post office only 3 miles away.

Tidewater Cottage faces the shore, along the Moray Firth, on the North sea in the Scottish region of Grampian Highlands where one third of the whole worldwide marine life is said to be preserved. Where the sea according to its unceasing tides' rhythm calmly washes the coast, Tidewater lies, a former fishermen' s cottage located in the heart of Seatown, in the marine village of Gardenstown just fifty miles north from Aberdeen and less than ten off the nearest fishing towns of Macduff and Banff.
A charming experience: Tidewater Cottage is a quaint, former eighteenth century fishermen's cottage with all the convenience of a modern dwelling restored in 2002. Tidewater offers its guests a peaceful and stylish accommodation in a really, unique atmosphere. The perfect union between land and water: on the back of the property the "brae" which gently downward slopes to the coast and, just in front, the sea full of hints and emotions according to the unrelentless slowly passing through days and seasons.
A foodstore, two cafes, a restaurant, pub, bakery, a post office, surgery and traditional crafts shops are all nearby.

Set on the coast about a mile due west of Portsoy, Westerwards Croft is ideally located for exploring the Coastline and the Highlands.
The cottage enjoys panoramic views across the Moray Firth to the North and the hills to the South. Portsoy, a picturesque 17th century fishing village offering shops and restaurants, is within easy reach.
Westerwards Croft is fully modernised to a high standard whilst preserving its natural character. Many of the original features were retained including feature stone walls and deep window recesses. All rooms overlook the sea, which is about a hundred yards from the house.
Join the Whisky, Castle and Fishing Trails; visit farm, transport and local museums; craft workshops and many National Trust properties. In the summer find an empty cove nearby or enjoy Portsoy's outside swimming pool, which is 5 mins walk from the croft.
