Woolstone is small, quiet rural village, just a few houses and an ancient church, on the side of the Cotswold Hills overlooking the Severn Valley. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with extensive views to the Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills, Bredon Hill and on a clear day, the Brecon Beacons. All around is good walking and riding country. The next village, half-a-mile away has a good pub with a restaurant, a village shop/post office and a riding stables.

Within a radius of 6 miles are Cheltenham, Winchcombe and Tewkesbury. Cheltenham has an excellent shopping, a theatre, museums, restaurants and a famous racecourse. Tewkesbury, with its rivers, abbey and medieval alleyways has many antique and bric-a-brac shops and a market twice a week.

Apple Tree Cottage
With a visitors book now full of superlatives this hide away traditional Cotswold cottage was refurbished only one year ago by the present owners and has already become a favourite with honeymooners and those looking for a cosy romantic retreat from every day life.

The Grade 2 listed cottage is situated in a peaceful secluded location within earshot of a cascading millstream close to one of Blockley's seven former silk mills yet only a few hundred yards from two inns, two restaurants, a delicatessen/coffee shop/wine store and an excellent village shop.

Retaining much of its original character and charm the cottage has a welcoming diner kitchen on the ground floor with a separate cloakroom/wc. A delightful sitting room on the first floor with twin window seats overlooking the landscaped garden and grounds and a particularly attractive bedroom on the second floor with exposed beams, apex ceiling, dormer window and an ensuite bathroom.

Approximately 3 1/2 miles from Chipping Campden and Moreton-in- Marsh (rail station from London Paddington), Apple Tree Cottage makes a wonderful base from which to explore the Cotswolds or simply enjoy a relaxing break in the country. Beechcroft
Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, in the historical village of Prestbury, Beechcroft is within walking distance of the world famous Cheltenham Racecourse, country pubs and local shops.

Buff's Cottage
Restored 19th century Cotswold cottage in village just outside Chipping Campden and at the foot of the National Trust's Dover's Hill offering the comforts of modern day living and with a very well-equipped kitchen.

Logs provided for the open fireplace in the sitting room, which also features a flag stone floor. The layout of the bedrooms makes Buff's an ideal choice for two couples as it offers private bathrooms for each bedroom (one ensuite and one adjoining). For families, there is a secret fifth bed in the sitting room.

The garden has a sunny private patio with garden furniture and there is off-road parking for two cars. Pets by arrangement at small extra cost. Nearest station Honeybourne (3 miles).


Byron Cottage
Byron Cottage is a modern version of a traditional mid-terraced Cotswold property. Built in 1975, the accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

Located in a quite residential area with little passing traffic, yet less than five minutes walk from the centre of the village.

Bourton offers many attractions such as Birdland, a model village, motor museum, model railway, perfumery, pottery, dragonfly maze, childrens indoor play barn, restaurants and shops.

Flowers Barn
Flowers Barn is a traditional Grade II listed barn. Originally used for stabling ten working horses and named after one 'Flower'. This delightful conversion nestles snugly in the heart of the Cotswold hills, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the only holiday cottage in the village.

A wonderful view from the upstairs lounge/dining window awaits you to watch the cows and calves in the meadow or to appreciate the unspoilt countryside offering buzzards to badgers to admire.

Our farmhouse is set in 250 acres of peaceful countryside on which we run a traditional beef suckler herd and grow milling wheat and malting barley.

We are within easy reach of Bath, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Our nearest town is Cirencester which is the capital of the Cotswolds and Britain's second largest city in Roman times. Cirencester is now a thriving market town with a wealth of interesting streets, inns and offers fine shopping. Its parish church is amongst the finest of all wool churches in the Cotwolds.

Local attractions include Barnsley House Gardens, Chedworth Roman Villa, Cotswold Water Park, Tetbury, Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water





Foden Lodge
The cottage, which sleeps 2/4 people, is situated in Lower Oddington close to the town of Stow-on-the-Wold. A period cottage which has been owned by the same family for nearly 100 years.

The Fox Inn is close by, with the Horse and Groom Inn situated approximately 15 minutes walk away, in Upper Oddington. Nearby is situated the C11th church of St. Nicholas which is adjacent to ancient woodlands. The village has a public phonebox.

The patio garden is furnished with a wrought iron table and chairs, and a water feature.

Glebe Cottage
Glebe Cottage is a very spacious, light and airy cottage recently converted from a 200 year old Cotswold building into a very desirable property furnished and equipped to a high standard.

Harvest Cottage
This charming thatched cottage situated in a quiet terrace in the unspoilt village of Bretforton offers an idyllic get-away.

Placed as it is on the northern edge of the Cotswold Hills, it offers a base from where the many local attractions can be visited. These include Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, the largest Butterfly Farm in the country, and Stratford-upon-Avon to name but a few.

The cottage has recently been refurbished and it now boasts a fully fitted kitchen with a gas fired wood burning stove. The decor provides a traditionally cottagey feel with exposed beams and stencilled motifs on the walls. The bedrooms contain hand painted furniture.

There is an enclosed garden area with laundry facilities, bicycles, a barbecue,and a seperate outside toilet.

Hillside Cottage
2 Cottages - Buckland is a peaceful village comprising only some twenty houses approached along a country lane just south of Broadway on the road to Cheltenham. The road ends in a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic and the surrounding countryside which is designated as an area of outstanding beauty is ideal for walking.

At the property visitors will enjoy seeing the owners own animals including, dogs, cats, sheep, lambs, goats, horses, ponies and free range chickens.

Like all the dwellings in the village, the two cottages are delightful stone built properties carefully converted in 1988 and 1990 from part of the original grain and hay loft of a fine Edwardian stable block. The building works have been carefully completed by local craftsmen to create homes full of character with exposed stonework and timber beams, and fitted out to the highest standards.

There are numerous easy footpaths including the Cotswold Way. In the centre of the village is the 12th century church of St Michael. The village which is mentioned in the Doomsday book lies in the fold of several gentle hillsides which are capped with ancient woodlands.


Island Lodge
Island Lodge overlooks a beautiful 120 acre private lake in the Cotswolds and is a traditional log house made in Finland.

Extremely comfortable and welcoming, the living room has a cosy woodburner and all the rooms are thoughtfully furnished.

The veranda leads on to a spacious sunny decked area with garden furniture, rocking chair and barbecue facilities.

There are stunning views across the lake especially on moon-lit nights! The Lake has excellent fishing opportunities for pike, perch, tench and roach, boat and life jacket provided.

The property has a resident nightingale colony, and a wealth of unusual flora and fauna.

Manor Farm Cottage
Tucked away in an attractive old village in the very heart of the North Cotswolds, this cosy cottage is ideal for exploring the area. This mid-terrace, character cottage is prettily and thoughtfully decorated and furnished in traditional style, with beams and an open fire, yet offers the convenience of a modern kitchen and bathroom.

Situated close to the Fosse Way, a Roman road, there is quick and easy access to Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and, of course, Stratford-upon-Avon. Country markets, National Trust properties and welcoming villages inns are all close by.

Millers Cottage
Romantic cosy Cotswold cottage in picturesque Chipping Campden. Built in 1723, it has a wealth of beams, nooks and crannies and is warm in winter, cool in summer. Enjoy open fires in the inglenook fireplace and the comfortable traditional furnishings.

Newbridge Cottage
Newbridge Cottage is a classic period stone cottage, located in the small Cotswold village of Clapton on the Hill, overlooking the Windrush Valley. Situated in the heart of the village, next to the 12th century church of St James, the cottage has a large private garden, including a trellissed pavilion for al fresco dining, oak swing and trampoline.

The Bothy
2 Cottages - Buckland is a peaceful village comprising only some twenty houses approached along a country lane just south of Broadway on the road to Cheltenham. The road ends in a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic and the surrounding countryside which is designated as an area of outstanding beauty is ideal for walking.

At the property visitors will enjoy seeing the owners own animals including, dogs, cats, sheep, lambs, goats, horses, ponies and free range chickens.

Like all the dwellings in the village, the two cottages are delightful stone built properties carefully converted in 1988 and 1990 from part of the original grain and hay loft of a fine Edwardian stable block. The building works have been carefully completed by local craftsmen to create homes full of character with exposed stonework and timber beams, and fitted out to the highest standards.

There are numerous easy footpaths including the Cotswold Way. In the centre of the village is the 12th century church of St Michael. The village which is mentioned in the Doomsday book lies in the fold of several gentle hillsides which are capped with ancient woodlands.


The Cottage
Moreton-in-Marsh is a small town situated in the North Cotswolds and in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A feature of all the Cotswolds towns and village is the honey coloured stone buildings. In Moreton-in-Marsh these can be seen on either side of the wide, tree-lined road through the town.

There is a good range of shopping facilities, good hotels, pubs and restaurants and the beautiful Cotswolds are on the doorstep, making it an excellent centre for a holiday. The busy market every Tuesday, originates from 1637 when King Charles I granted a charter for the market.

There are many National Trust Properties in the area and pretty villages close by. Other places worth a visit include Stratford upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace), Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Sudeley Castle and Cotswold Wildlife Park.


The Malthouse

Toms Cottage
Situated in a small village, just 2 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold, Tom's Cottage is a charming period listed stone cottage, dating from the latter part of the 18th Century. Full of character, with exposed beams and mullion windows, it has a working wood burning stove and high quality furnishings. The garden room is a particular feature, being perfect for all year round dining in an environment of exposed stonework and mature climbing plants.

The village is very unspoiled and offers 2 excellent pubs within easy walking distance. All the Cotswolds many attractions are within easy reach and there are a number of National Trust properties within the immediate vicinity. For the sports minded there are 5 golf courses nearby, good walking, and cycling.

Woodbine Cottage
Woodbine Cottage lies in the idyllic Cotswold hamlet of Donnington, beautifully set in the glorious countryside of an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and within a conservation region. Totally unspoilt and peaceful, Donnington retains the charm of English village life, and is one mile from the famous market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, and close to the quintessential English villages of Bourton-On-the-Water, the Slaughters and the Swells.

Woodbine cottage is a Grade II listed building, being of historical and architectural interest. Built of local stone, with a traditional stone-tiled roof, parts of the cottage date from the 17th century and the rest from the 19th century.

The area is rich with historic attractions, such as Blenheim Place at Woodstock and Warwick Castle. Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon-Avon is 18 miles away, and Cheltenham Spa with its famous racecourse only 21 miles. Oxford, Bath and Cirencester are also easily reached.



Yew Tree House
Yew Tree House is a delightful period dwelling of Cotswold stone and slate. It is located at the centre of the small village of Naunton, a very attractive village in the upper Windrush valley in the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Naunton has a parish church and a pub, serving good food at lunchtime and the evening. It is an ideal location to enjoy, summer and winter, the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and many splendid walks starting from the village.

Naunton is 5 miles from Bourton, 7 miles from Stowe, 12 miles from Cheltenham and 13 miles from Broadway. Yew Tree House is a good location from which to visit Oxford, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and other Stately homes and gardens. There is also a golf course on the nearby Naunton Down.
