Warm and comfortable 2 bedroomed mid terrace cottage situated in a quiet residential area of Matlock.

Ideal location fro visiting Chatsworth, Bakewell, Alton Towers or walking in the Peak District.

The town is 7 minutes walk and the nearest local pub serving food is 2 minutes away.

Check in is at the owners guest house - 3 minutes walk away, parking is on the roadside or in the guest house car park.

A comprehensive cleaning pack is provided, and tea/coffee/sugar plus a pint of welcome are included for an arrival drink.

Flowers, chocolates, balloons and groceries can all be arranged in advance.


Meadows End
Meadows End occupies a quiet location at the end of a private lane with views of Castleton and Mam Tor. It offers a splendid position for walking or touring (map ref: 168840)

It lies on a footpath at the foot of Losehill. Leading to the Grand Ridge, Edale and Kinder. Paths also give ready access to Castleton, the Derwent Valley and Ladybower etc..

Meadows End is a 30 minute drive from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Bakewell, and Buxton, and is close to Chatsworth, Haddon Hill and the "plague" village of Eyam.

Hope village is about half a mile away and has a greengrocers, a spar shop, a delicatessen, a butcher and a Post office/paper shop.

Hope also has three eating pubs and several other excellent eating places within two miles.

The Stables
"The Stable" is a traditional stone cottage located in the centre of the delightful friendly Peak District village of Monyash. The are is well known to walkers and cyclists for its proximity to Lathkill Dale and its National Nature Reserve. The dale is rich in wildlife and widflowers and offers peace, tranquillity and beautiful landscapes.

The property is approximately 150 years old and has been carefully converted by its present owners to provide attractive, comfortable accommodation and still retains its "olde worlde! charm. The cottage garden has been lovingly restored and includes a covered seating area with barbecue and patio heater.

Monyash is centrally located in the Peak District National Park and within easy reach of the market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne. There is an excellent choice of pubs, tearooms and restaurants nearby and lots of places to visit - Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, Matlock Bath, Castleton, Carsington Water and numerous cycle trails.
