1, High Kirkland
2 Cottages - These are traditional stone built Galloway cottages newly recontructed, double glazed throughout and are very attractively situated on an elevated position on a farm site.

The cottages are located one mile from Kirkcudbright. This is home to many famous artists and there are facilities there for golf, tennis and fishing. There is the Museum, Harbour Gallery, Broughton House and Wildlife Park. There are also many beaches only a few miles away.



3, High Kirkland

These are three STB 4 Star graded cottages which all benefit from their unique riverside setting in a peaceful wooded valley yet they are only a few minutes walk from Dalbeattie Town Centre and just a short drive from the Solway coastal resorts of Rockcliffe, Kippford & Sandyhills Beaches.

The beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway with its hills, glens, forests & lochs provides ample opportunities for walking, cycling, sailing, windsurfing, riding, birdwatching and fishing.

The lovely Solway Coast, just a few minutes drive away offers sandy beaches for bathing, rocky coves and a wealth of birdlife. The region boasts numerous golf courses including the championship course at Southerness. An abundance of museums, art galleries, historic houses, abbeys, castles and several beautiful gardens are all here to be discovered and explored.


Boreland Cottage
Boreland Cottage is situated on the B733, 2 miles from Kirkcowan and 5 miles from Wigtown, Scotland's Booktown. You will enjoy beautiful views over the River Bladnoch, Cairnsmore and the Galloway hills beyond.

Sitting in it's own grounds with private access and parking, the traditional stone farm cottage is the ideal base for a peaceful holiday, from which you can explore all the area has to offer. Families are very welcome. The garden is enclosed and of a good size with a small area of woodland to explore.


Broomisle Cottage
The Coach House, Lodge and Smithy Cottage plus much of the fishing is privately and quietly situated in attractive countryside by the River Bladnoch at Mochrum Park, about six miles from Newton Stewart.

Broomisle Cottage is set amongst fields close to Newton Stewart overlooking the River Cree. These self-catering houses are quite outstanding and furnished to a high standard. They can be booked with confidence and are ideal for the whole family to stay in comfort at any time of the year. In addition to catering for the general holidaymaker year round, we are in an ideal position to offer specialist sporting holidays.

With over 10 miles of privately owned salmon/trout fishing. Galloway has 26 Golf courses several are nearby, all are attractively situated with many amidst spectacular scenery. The Birdwatcher will be delighted with the variety of species and R.S.P.B. reserves. The Solway is famous for its waders. Sea fishing is very productive with some of the best in Britain in nearby Luce Bay. Rough shooting, wildfowling and stalking can be arranged.

Sailing, windsurfing, hillwalking, horse riding, curling and bowling can all be enjoyed. Whether it is a holiday for the sporting minded or those just seeking relaxation, we are confident you will have an enjoyable stay and want to return.

Bysbie View
Bysbie View is a Grade C listed cottage located a short walk from an attractive and active harbour. The accommodation is located on three floors with lovely harbour views from the top floor. The sunny, small garden is at the rear.

Historic mainland Isle of Whithorn is to be found on the Solway Firth and is an ideal spot for fishing, bird watching and walking/cycling holidays. Golf, historic sites, a coastal path and a sandy beach can be found nearby. Other local attractions include a whisky distillery, Scotlands National Book town and Galloway Forest Park. Trips to Northern Ireland are available from Stranraer.

The local population of about 300 are welcoming and friendly to visitors.

Our weekly bookings are from Sunday to Sunday, however we do offer short breaks either from Sunday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday.

We have 7 cottages half of which are traditional (with coal fires as well as electric heating); the other half are recently modernised - again heated by storage heaters.

Cycles are for hire. There's a games room, including darts, table tennis and a full sized snooker table, but walking, fishing and relaxing are the favourite occupations. It's very rural here.

Our weekly bookings are from Sunday to Sunday, however we do offer short breaks either from Sunday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday.
