Exmoor Cottages

Brightworthy Farm
Secluded Farmhouse in superb position. Sleeps 6 - 8. Wonderful views, alone in 137 acres on River Barle with stabling, doorstep moreland walking. Pub and shop 2 miles, sea 12 miles drive.

Enclosed garden leads into hall, tv/sitting room with log fire. Fully fitted electric kitchen with gas aga and dining room with kitchen table an woodburner. Upstairs leads to 5 bedrooms, one double, two twin and 2 single rooms. shower room and bathroom.

Logs and electricity at cost, Dogs £11 per week.

Christmas and New Year, weekly bookings only, changeover day Thursday.


Butterflies
Butterflies is a period cottage in the quiet village of Timberscombe in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. The cottage is warm and comfortable with all-inclusive prices. It has been refurbished, but retain many character features including exposed timbers and leaded light windows.

Whether you like walking, riding, fishing or just relaxing and admiring the beautiful countryside, Butterflies is ideally situated for exploring Exmoor, local beaches and beauty spots and the many historic properties in the area.

Farthingwood Barn
The Farthingwood Barn has a cobbled patio area in front with benches and picnic table.

At rear of the property there is a garden and access to the lower paddock, where you will find our friendly farm animals, duck pond, free range chickens, and a truly fantastic view. Parking at the side of the property.

Then there's feeding our animals, but only if you want to! Complementary DIY livery for your horse and lots of local information maps and guides available as well.

Wheddon Cross village has a great pub, post office, and good shops in easy walking distance, a great touring base to experience Exmoor and coastline.


Hope Cottage
Hope Cottage offers a very relaxing short break/holiday. A charming and very spacious cottage it is situated within the Exmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty where the moor meets the sea.

Lovely old-worlde villages, tea-gardens, great walking - a 'get away from it all' experience.

For children there's lots to do - the sea and beaches not far away and numerous attractions in the area. Return after your day out to the relaxing ambience of Hope Cottage. Enjoy a barbeque in the garden or eat at the nearby Lion Inn, or there is a good selection of restaurants in Dunster and Minehead.

Your holiday hopes should be met staying here, although weather is not guaranteed!


Lyndale
18th Century stone cottage of considerable character in pretty village at foot of Brendon Hills in Exmoor National Park. Exposed beams, flagstone and wood floors, wood burner and open fire.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. Two comfortable bedrooms, one with double bed and the other two singles. Attractive dining room with farm-house style table, seating for six and welsh dresser – ideal for that special evening. Cosy, living room with two sofas, one of which converts to a double bed.

Peacefull, hill-side garden 50 yards from cottage - with barbeque area and view over the valley. Parking for 2 cars. Beautiful, varied walks from door. Coast 3 miles. Pets welcome. Local shop and inn with garden.


Periwinkle Cottage
Idyllic village location, 17th Century cosy cottage providing tranquillity and charm, with beamed ceiling and inglenook recess with Rayburn. One of three delightful cob built cottages, off road, enjoying seclusion, peace and panoramic views.

Tastefully modernised, double glazed, well maintained and equipped, ETC 4 star, provides for 2 people (non-smokers). Private pretty gardens, patio, barbecue, summer-house with garden furniture. Local maps and walking guides provided, and a delicious cream tea on arrival.
