Situated in a quiet country lane on the North Downs Way this end-of-terrace cottage is about 2 miles from the attractive village of Wye, with restaurants, a riverside pub, useful shops and a station.
The cottage is comfortably and tastefully furnished, with an open fire in the lounge, and there is an attractive cottage garden. The rent includes bed linen and electricity (night storage and portable heaters, hot water by immersion heater).
All around is beautiful countryside, with many footpaths. Historic places of interest, country houses, gardens, wildlife parks, nature reserves - interest for all the family - abound, and Ashford International Station, Channel Tunnel and ferries from Dover and Folkstone make for easy access across the Channel. |

Downs Farm Granary is at the top of a no through road and is reached by an un-made track. It is very secluded and peaceful.
The building itself is a converted granary/cart shed dating from about 1870. Downs Farm is a small farm situated on top of the beatiful North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The area is perfect for walking and mountain biking, the North Downs Way, one of Britain's National Trails is just two minutes walk away.
We are child friendly, stair gates can be fitted and pushchairs borrowed, the granary has an enclosed garden and covered bike storage.
Canterbury, Channel Tunnel and Dover are all within 30 minutes drive.

Owl Cottage sits in the quiet hamlet of Guston just 2 miles from Dover Seafront with its busy cross-channel ferry and Hoverports. This cosy cottage, which is over 140 years old, has been tastefully modernised and well equipped.
The ancient cinque port towns of Deal and Sandwich are within easy reach while the cathedral city of Canterbury is just 16 miles away (an excellent Park and Ride System operates here).
Whether you intend walking on the famous White Cliffs or visiting the many nearby historic sites which include Dover Castle, Deal Castle or Walmer Castle, playing golf at one of the many nearby courses or perhaps taking a day trip to France, at the end of each day we are sure you will find our much loved Owl Cottage to be a restful retreat on your return. |

A charming bijou fisherman's cottage dating back to 1790, set in historical conservation area of Deal, a short walk from the town centre and minutes from the sea.
It offers luxurious, cosy accommodation for couples all year round including Christmas and New Year.
Deal offers an unspoilt seafront, good high street shops, fine restaurants, golf courses (incidently, Golf Pro Lee Westwood stayed at Shrimp Cottage during the 2003 Open Golf Championship at The Royal St Georges at Sandwich), fishing off the pier or beach, Deal, Dover and Walmer castles, and many fine sandy beaches.
The cottage is near Dover port for day trips to Calais for shopping or sightseeing. |

Streete Cottage is a semi-detatched 17th Century oak beamed period cottage with a pretty, enclosed garden near a working farm. Set in the charming village of St Nicholas at Wade, it is well situated for touring East Kent and Canterbury is only 10 miles away.
However, within a mile of the village there is a pub which serves food and refreshments, a restaurant, a shop and a Post Office. The seaside towns of Herne Bay and Margate are also not far away, and for trips to the continent, Ramsgate is only 9 miles away.
For the more active visitor there is a leisure centre and golf course nearby or for those who wish to relax there are vineyards and Howletts Zoo within a close range. |
