Our charming holiday cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Little Eccleston in the very heart of the sunny Lancashire Fylde, offering the discerning holidaymaker the "best of both worlds".

Nearby is the River Wyre, with its old toll bridge and riverside walks and the undiscovered villages of the Fylde countryside.

local pubs and restaurants provide fine food and drink and Great Eccleston holds a weekly open market.

Within a short drive is the old market town of Poulton-le-Fylde, with its wide range of shops, also the coastal resorts of Lytham, St. Annes, Blackpool, Cleveleys and fishing port of Fleetwood.

Further afield lie the beautiful Trough of Bowland, the historic city of Lanacaster and the magnificent English Lake District.

If you still have the energy, Clitheroe Leisure Centre can provide a whole host of activities to enjoy, particularly tennis and swimming.

Bowland Cottage

Bradley House

Three well furnished period cottages with adjoining gardens, in the small hamlet of Harrop Fold. Situated in a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Harrop Fold is the ideal location from which to visit the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, West Coast Resorts, the Ribble Valley and the Forest of Bowland.

Bradley House sleeps 4 and features a relaxing sitting room with exposed beams and a grandfather clock.

The Old Granary features an external staircase reaching first floor accommodation, containing lounge with good views and a fitted kitchen with breakfast bar.

One small well-behaved pet is welcomed in The Old Granary and Bradley House. £25 extra charge paid directly to the owner.

Manor House Cottage is a 17th Century Grade II listed property. It sleeps 2 and has a large beamed lounge with coal effect oil fire.

Set in approx 1/2 acre of their own gardens each cottage has been converted to a very high standard and are ideally situated for exploring the local countryside. The cottages are located just one mile away from the beautiful village of Chipping with it's pretty, winding streets and renowned village pubs.

Pale Farm Cottages are an ideal base from which to enjoy swimming, tennis, golf, cycling, fishing, horse riding, all of which are available nearby. Excellent walking is available locally. Three village pubs & the Cobbled Corner Café all in Chipping serve delicious home made food in relaxing atmospheres. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Places to visit: City of Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Leeds, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Bright lights of Blackpool and its Pleasure Beach, Southport, Morecambe, Camelot theme park are all within easy reach. Ribchester, Stoneyhurst, Clitherore,Whalley all 10 minutes drive away and of course the Forest Of Bowland.

With its championship golf courses and the Martin Mere Wildfowl Nature Reserve close by, this is an ideal location for a perfect holiday.

These are three charming and award winning cottages recently converted from a traditional farm building. They are set on Martin Lane Farm next to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. Whilst being located in the fertile and attractive West Lancashire countryside the cottages provide a base to explore Southport, Blackpool, Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, the Lake District and the North Wales coastal resorts, which are all easily accessible from the farm. The nearby ancient market town of Ormskirk, which has a twice weekly street market, is only 4 miles away.

Many original features have been preserved in the development of the cottages and they share a large garden with a play area for children and barbecue facilities.

For the wildlife enthusiast, there is the Wildfowl amd Wetlands Centre at Martin Mere (2 miles) and for the sportsman, there is golf, fishing, windsurfing, squash, badminton, and swimming, all available locally.
