Beech House

Guests tell us "Beech House" is "Perfect", "A great centre to come to and work from," "Home from home", Take the opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy our lovely farmhouse which is suited to both large and small groups. Our Farmhouse is full of character and spacious, with inglenook fireplaces, beams, stripped wood and slate flagged floors. Three ensuite bedrooms, one four poster, bathroom, one bunk room, well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room with large slate bed dining/snooker table. Guests are welcome to watch our cow being milked or visit our small animals. We have a play area, trampoline and games room with ball pond. Explore the surrounding countryside, coast and moors or take a trip to Eden or Clovelly. Treat yourselves to our home cooked Farmhouse Meals. B&B also available.

Halcyon Cottage

Hardwick Flat

This comfortable holiday flat is part of a family home but completely self contained. It is tucked away in a semi rural location, situated in a country road with views over Devons farmland. Barnstaple is the largest town in North Devon and is only 5 mins away by car, or 20 min walk. There is surfing on glorious beaches such as Woolacombe, Saunton Sands. There is walking and Exmoor is not far away, fishing, horse riding, tennis, shops are all near by. The flat is idealfor a couple or small family. There is use of a large garden, with patio area.

Hill Cottage

Individual stone cottage, nestling in open countryside on Devon/Cornwall border, views over the picturesque river Tamar. Hill Cottage stands alone in its own private, tiered garden with mature fruit trees and protective hedgerows. Ideally located for beaches or moors. Hill Cottage was built in the late 17th Century and during its past has been the local inn and post office. It still retains all it's character and many original features: beams, wide polished floorboards, unique central spiralling staircase and deep picture windows. Hill Cottage's charm is matched by its modern comfort and luxury with high quality furnishings and every convenience: from fully equipped kitchen to spacious double bedrooms, from full central heating to cosy log burner. Only weekly bookings accepted over the Christmas and New Year period.

Lakeview Rise

Situated on the edge of Dartmoor and within thirty minutes of Bude and the stunning North Devon Coast, Lakeview Rise is the perfect location for a holiday. Refurnished to a very high standard, the cottage has beautiful views over Dartmoor which can be enjoyed from the south facing decking within the grounds. There is an indoor swimming pool and sauna, a well stocked fishing lake, a picnic and a children's play area. Cyclists can enjoy the famous Tarka Trail cycle path and there are many beautiful local walks. There are also many nearby Golf clubs and pubs serving excellent food, plus famous attractions including The Eden Project. Sorry smoking inside the cottage is not permitted.

Newark

Newark is a newly renovated property in the beautiful village of Umberleigh. The house is charmingly situated in North Devon amongst the Devonshire Dales, within a couple of minutes walking distance of the River Taw, which runs through the village. The local village pub, which offers extremely good food, is close by and the tiny railway station in the village runs from Exeter at one end to the thriving market town of Barnstaple at the other. The house is an ideal base for exploring Dartmoor. Exmoor and the North Devon Coast and the region offers entertainment, to suit every taste, within easy reach. Only weekly bookings accepted for New Year.

Waters Reach

Uninterrupted views over the stunning estuary from our 3-storey 200-year-old Georgian house in popular Irsha Street. Our house is one of the most charming properties in Appledore. It is extremely well-equipped. On the ground floor, a fully-fitted kitchen with TV, a small breakfast room and a luxurious shower room. On the first floor a lovely drawing room with large double sash windows overlooking the whole estuary. On the second floor, to the rear a twinbedded room overlooking Appledore's roofs and gardens. To the front a double bedroom with great views of the river estuary again. A comfortable family home with spectacular views. Well-behaved pets welcome but downstairs only. Not really suitable for children under 3 years old (steep stairs). Regret no smokers. Christmas and New Year, weekly bookings only.
