1, The Sandpiper
The Sandpiper was an old school house which was recently rebuilt to a high specification as a holiday home . It is located near Cranfield between Kilkeel and Rostrevor. It has panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains, Irish Sea and Carlingford Lough. Situated in this picturesque area Sandpiper is good for a family beach holiday, a mountain walking holiday and ideal as a base for those who would like to tour around this beautiful location.

It is 1 hours drive from Belfast and 2 hrs from Dublin. The nearby charming fishing port of Kilkeel offers a good supermarket and excellent small shops, pubs and restaurants. Other attractions include good beaches a short walk away; golf, pony trekking and fishing.

Mill Cottage
Broughshane, the garden village of Ulster, is located some three miles east of the town of Ballymena in County Antrim. Set in the beautiful Braid Valley it is a gateway to the scenic Glens of Antrim and the famous Antrim Coast. The village is known by communities all over the world for its success in the competitive floral arena having won Ulster in Bloom, Britain in Bloom, the European Entente Florale and Nations in Bloom, several times.

Mill Cottage is located at Houston's Mill, recently restored in its original and matching stone. The Mill stands at the edge of Broughshane village in a lovely rural setting just three minutes walk from the shops, pubs and the river walk.

There is plenty to do and see within this beautiful area. See the Glens and the Antrim coast. Visit the seaside villages of Carnlough, Cushendall and Cushendun. Admire the views and the scenery of Glenariff and the other Glens of Antrim and wonder at nature on the Giant's Causeway. One can play golf at the 18 hole Ballymena course on the edge of Broughshane village or at the championship course at Galgorm castle just six miles away. Fish in the Braid river, or walk to the Slemish Mountains. Altogether an ideal retreat.


The Hill Cottage
The Hill Cottage is situated approximately 2 miles from the villages of both Crossgar and Killyleagh. It is in a peaceful and rural setting yet only a few miles from the picturesque Strangford Lough and all the many amenities Co Down has to offer.

The cottage was converted from an old stone farm building in 1990. It is tastefully furnished with all home comforts, including lots of books and some games. The back door opens on to a big farm yard (now only used for the owners horse). The front door opens onto a private south facing garden with a patio BBQ and garden furniture.

Enjoy the nearby beautiful Delamont Country Park on the shores of Strangford Lough. Walk in the Mourne Mountains, Tollymore and Castlewellan Forest Parks, visit various National Trust properties or picnic on the quiet sandy beaches near Newcastle (coastal resort). Riding, fishing, sailing and excellent Golf courses all within 10 miles.
