The Lodge owns 1/2 mile of beach and can offer fishing facilites in the Loch without need of licence, the moors and mountains are ideal for walking and climbing. The trip from Rannoch to Mallaig has been called one of the "Great Train Journeys of the World".

Laighwood is centrally located for sightseeing and for all country pursuits, including golf, fishing and walking in the heart of beautiful Perthshire.
There are many opportunities for the more active guest with ski-ing and white water rafting nearby. Loch and river fishing for trout and salmon is also available locally.
