Bridge Cottage
The Cottage, part of which dates back to the 16th century and still retains an original window from 1590, sits beside the bridge over the River Honduu at Llanvihangel Crucorney. 6 miles from Abergavenny, 19 miles from Hereford, 1 hrs drive to Cardiff & Bristol.

The Cottage is less than 3 mins walk from the village where there is a shop, Post Office, petrol station and Skirrid Inn Pub - the oldest Inn in Wales.

Situated in the Brecon Beacon National Park, there are walks directly from the door and it is an ideal place for exploring the Black Mountains, the Llanthony Valley and the Herefordshire border country.

Bridge Cottage has a delightful garden with lawns, flower beds & a secluded patio area with barbecue. The River Honduu borders the garden with steps down to the water. Caution recommended with children.

It is situated in an area of designated natural beauty on the Gower Peninsula, with rugged coastline, beautiful accessible beaches and cliff walks. Inland are numerous monuments and castles of historical interest.

Merlins Cottage
Situated in the market town of Llandeilo just a short walk to an excellent selection of shops and restaurants.

This modern, recently refurbished cottage is finished to an extremely high standard with underfloor heating, oak floors, bathroom with walk in shower, Bang and Olufsen television and the list goes on.

You can walk to Dinefwr Castle and Newton House through Castle Woods and parkland designed by Capability Brown, or down to the Towey River where fishing can be arranged in one of the finest sea trout and salmon rivers in Wales.

Otherwise you can drive a short distance to the National Botanic Gardens, Aberglassney Gardens or slightly further afield to Gower or Pembrokeshire.

If not, just stay in and lounge on the comfy settee's, push a button to light the fire, read a book or watch a DVD.


Nantsisil

3 miles shops and good food pubs. Most days Red Kites fly overhead. Pony trekking and the famous Dan yr Ogof Caves are only 3 miles away.

Why not take a canal trip from Brecon, ride the Brecon Mountain Railway, try your hand at the Llangosse Rope Centre. Visit Aberglassney (a garden lost in time) and the National Botanic Garden, both possible in one day. Go underground at Big Pit coal mine. Children love Carreg Cennen Castle with its underground passage (take or hire a torch). Climb Pen y Fan (choice of easy or more difficult paths).

Station View
Sennybridge is a village on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons. It is a good centre for walking, fishing and pony treking. It is also ideal for observing Red Kites and Buzzards as well as many other birds. There is now one shop, a post office, two garages and three pubs.

There are daily buses between Brecon Beacons and Swansea and Brecon and Llandovery with links to other towns in the area.

The house was built about one hundred years age and has been used as the village office and a drapers shop at various times in history.

The National Park Visitors Centre near Libanus (about 8 miles) is well worth a visit for the views it commarnds and for the wide range of information and activities on offer.

The Cross
The Cross is situated in the middle of Llangennith opposite the mini roundabout.
Maps of the area show that there has been a dwelling at the cross for at least 200 years and prior to the refurbishment the old building consisted of two cottages that had been converted into one.

The property has been rebuilt during 1996 retaining the original front wall and the floor plan of the original rooms but has added a large kitchen at the rear, and upstairs a second bathroom. Much of the original charm of beamed ceilings and fire places has been retained.

Llangennith is a village at the North West tip of Gower close to Broughton Beach and Rhossili Beach. It is ideal for seaside surfing and fishing holidays, and many coastal walks. There is an 11th century Norman Church, village pub and post office.
Free parking is available at Broughton Farm Caravan Park, (next to Broughton Beach), where there is also a children's playground and grocery shop from Easter to September.

Trepartridge Cottage
Trepartridge is a traditional cottage on a small holding in a quiet valley in southern Wales. Inside the cottage there are ceilings with exposed beams, all mod cons and is centrally heated.

This cottage is convenient for access to both the coast and the country. It is four miles from Pembrey Country Park (with an 8 mile long, awarding winning beach) and the Millenium Coastal Park. Also nearby are the National Botanic Gardens, Aberglasney Gardens and the Gower Coast (30 minute drive).

Locally there are facilities for activities such as golf and horse-riding. The Pembrey Racing Circuit and Kidwelly Castle are nearby.

Only weekly booking accepted over Christmas.


Y Beudy
High-quality stone barn-conversion, originally a milking parlour belonging to the days when Maes Pant was a working dairy farm. Most of the downstairs (including bedrooms and bathroom)is accessible to wheelchairs. Centrally-heated with wood-burning stove.
