In a rural setting just over a mile from the villages of Haworth and Oxenhope, it is an excellent centre for walking the Bronte Moors and visiting the many local places of interest.

This former weaver's cottage built in 1785 has a winding stone staircase and is attractively furnished with antique pine.

There is a small but pretty garden with parking in the yard nearby.

Places to visit include Bronte Parsonage and museum at Haworth, Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway, East Riddlesden Hall, Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey, Harewood House and Bird Garden, the historic city of York and many more.

A Listed Building Full of Character
Westwood Lodge is one of Ilkley's grand Victorian houses with adjoining cottages and former stables. Built in the neo-Gothic style in 1875 it is a Listed historic building.

Westwood Lodge has been awarded both Four and Five Stars by the English Tourism Council for its self-catering cottages and apartments.

Short breaks - minimum of three nights - can start and finish any day accept Saturday or Sunday.

Cherry Tree Cottage

Two luxury warm stone cottages, set in two acres of natural woodland heather garden with superb views of the attractive South Pennines, and direct access to open countryside and footpaths.

Pets and children are welcome. Children will find the whole garden adventurous, with rope swings and rocks to climb. There is direct access from both cottages to the large two acre garden, with pond, trees and heather banks. Both cottages have an ETC Highly Commended 4 Star grading.

From the doorstep, there is a wide variety of local footpaths and bridleways to explore, including the Calderdale Way long distance path, which passes close by. As we are keen walkers and cyclists ourselves, we are happy to offer advice on the most interesting moorland and footpath walking, and cycle routes using quiet country lanes.

There are many good pubs and restaurants in the local area, and some within walking distance!!!

Fenaybeck Cottage

Fenay beck cottage is located a short walk (10 mins) from the village of Kirkburton, in West Yorkshire, and Boothroyd Wood (conservation area). Local amenities include shops, library, doctors, Italian restaurant, and various food outlets. There is a Vintage Public House and fish and chip shop just around the corner from the cottage.

Within a short drive is the famous "last of the summer wine" village of Holmfirth and, for those who enjoy walking, the Pennines is close at hand. Huddersfield town lies in the heart of the Pennines and is within 10 mins drive of the cottage. In addition to the shopping precinct, there are various markets, cobbled streets, and a UCI cinema on the outskirts. Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield are all within an hour's drive, offering excellent shopping and a lively nightlife.

Now beautifully converted into one dwelling, and set in three acres of private gardens and woodland, it is the perfect place to escape to for peace and relaxation. There are also over 250 licensed restaurants, cafes and public houses within the area.

The Barn

Ideally situated for walking or touring holidays with numerous local attractions. The Barn sits on a south facing hillside with panoramic views over Pennine moorland. It is surrounded by farmland and visitors may roam in our landscaped garden and meadow.

This two bedroomed property was recently converted from a 19th century barn, retaining natural stone walls and beams.

Nearby places to visit include Bronte Country, Holmfirth & the Peak District - "Last of the Summer Wine" country, Bradford, Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Coast - the beautiful sandy beaches of Filey, Manchester, Wakefield, York and Blackpool.
